Suspended solids and multi-tasking

Why are you doing this to me????? After several days of Alex being confused and unhappy that I was trying to give him yucky rice cereal, I tried giving him freshly made (and tasty) applesauce. He hated that too, and even threw up. Right now he seems to hate everything about eating--his seat, his bib, and the food. So I decided not to push it. I'll try again when he's 6 months old.
Alex loves Peek a Who?, a new book I got for him. He likes to hear the story, look at the pictures, and chew on it.

Multi-tasking! Sometimes one toy just isn't enough, so Alex likes to play with one toy with his hands and another toy with his feet.
